How to Run Ubuntu's Bash on Windows 10

Windows 10 product key Insider Preview Build 14316 includes many new features. One of those features is "Windows Subsystem for Linux".
The Windows 10 Anniversary Update, released this summer, includes the ability to use Bash to run Linux applications under the command. Microsoft office 2016 product key has provided beta testing of some of the features of Anniversary Update in Build 14316 including Bash in Windows 10.
Note: Build 14316 is only for Windows Insider users.
1. What is Bash on Linux?
For those who do not know, Bash or Bourne Again Shell is a standard GNU Linux Shell program.
2 Run Ubuntu's Bash on Windows 10
First activate the Developer Mode by:
Go to Settings => Update & Security => For Developers. Then select Developer Mode, and then select Windows Features. Turn Windows features on or off.
In the Turn Windows features on or off select Windows Subsystem for Linux (Beta) and select OK.
At this point Windows will look for the necessary files and start applying changes. After the process is finished, click Restart Now to restart your computer.
After booting up, right-click the Start button and select Command Prompt (Admin) or Powershell.
Next, enter Bash in the Command Prompt window and press Enter. At this screen appears message will This will install Ubuntu on Windows, distributed by Canonical and ... Enter Y to continue to perform the next step.
Then press Y to start the download process from the Windows product key Store.
Once the download is complete, it will begin the process of unpacking the system files.
After the process is finished you will receive a successful installation message: Installation Successful! The environment will start momentarily ...
From now on you can run the Bash Script, the linux commands sed, awk, grep, .. directly on Windows. Also you can access the Windows system files from Bash.
Also after installation, Bash is also listed in the application, you can open All app then click Bash on Ubuntu on Windows to open Bash.
