If the information above is correct then the "hybrid" Start Menu will be split into two separate sections. The left side is the traditional Start menu, containing a list of commonly used or user-created applications, including full names and icons. On the right are brick-like applications similar to the current Modern UI screens on Windows 8, 8.1, 8.1 Update 1.
