Office 2019 runs only on Windows 10, launched in late 2018

The next (and potentially last) version of Office that is licensed for the future is only compatible with the latest Windows platform.

According to Neowin, Office 2019 will be available as a click-to-run installer, meaning that the software will not be pre-packaged, instead downloaded during the installation process. Inside applications include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Skype for Business, while OneNote, Access, and Publisher are removed. Most likely, OneNote 2019 will be launched as a UWP (Universal Windows Platform) application, while Access and Publisher will be sold separately.
In addition, Microsoft will no longer provide 10 years of support for Office 2019 as it did for previous versions of Office. Instead, the user only has 5 years of main support and 5 years of additional support.
